Ran An: Culinary Dropout has become one of my fav eateries in the Domain area. The last visit we had the pretzel cheese fondue, which was amazing. I ordered the Korean style Ribeye cap. If you like the sweet and savory style of Korean BBQ with a little heat, you will LOVE this dish. It comes with sauteed veggies and onions and cilantro. I did ask for more cilantro on the side just because I love it. We also ordered the Steak Frites which was also cooked perfectly as ordered. The fish and chips is another good option, and it's not over battered. The Sicilian Lemonade Stand mocktail is DELICIOUS. Think the best bubbly strawberry lemonade you've ever had. If you want alcohol, you can just tell them to add some Tito's or Deep Eddy. Closest parking garage is the Blue Garage, entered from Rock Rose near the Gelato place.
Charles W Basden: This was my wife and my first visit here. The food was excellent. My wife had the fried chicken and I had the pastrami sandwich - both of which are house specialties. It was all excellent. Good options were available for drinks and wine too. The service was prompt and friendly and prices decent. I would definitely go back although expect high energy as the place is huge and was packed even though it was a week night.Parking: Street is limited to 1 hour. Garage has no limit that I saw.
Julian Rodriguez: Had live music when we visited. Indoor and outdoor seatingKid-friendliness: Kids menu availableWheelchair accessibility: Accessible seating available
Tara Holstay: amazing 86 alcohol drinks!!! Great food - dont forget dessert!!! Try the cinnamon monkey bread. Gets a bit loud with music + people + tv + games
Jenia Moore: and she took care out it right away! When it came back it still wasn’t perfect so she brought her manager
Atania Figueroa: **HIGHLY RECOMMEND** it was busy AF 4/19 evening night………Visiting from FL with Hubby, I met with a group of girlies at Culinary drop out. We met the group a little late but still decided to stay for dinner and let me just say it was the best thing we did! First let me say from the moment you walk in the door people are friendly and so welcoming. We had the pleasure of having Hunter as our waiter, who was on POINT the entire time. Hunter was friendly, knowledgeable, welcoming and attentive to detail. I didn’t like my first drink of choice but he asked the right questions for my second drink and let me just say I was very pleased! Food, atmosphere, service was amazing. I look forward to coming back here when I’m in town again!
Justin Spaulding: Review for Culinary Dropout:I recently dined at Culinary Dropout and had an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the incredible atmosphere. The ambiance was simply amazing, creating a perfect setting for a memorable meal. The meal itself was outstanding. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. One standout element was the cup of coffee I ordered - it was truly exceptional. Sipping on it next to an open flame added an extra touch of coziness to the whole dining experience.Despite the chilly weather outside, the area where we were seated was surprisingly warm and inviting. It made our time there even more enjoyable, knowing that we could relax and savor our meal in such a comfortable environment.Overall, Culinary Dropout is truly an awesome place to dine. The combination of delicious food, fantastic atmosphere, and attentive service makes it a top-notch choice for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal out.
naijayemm: Service was kind, attentive and friendly. My family and I ate on a Friday night which was busy but it makes good people watching. I ordered the chopped chicken salad which was delicious. My brother and cousin both ordered the ribs which they thoroughly enjoyed. I salivated for it as well. This restaurant draws a fun, eclectic mix of ppl. Great spot for a casual date, chill with friends or meet up with family. I would recommend this restaurant if you’re new to Austin or looking to try something different. Oh yeah, parking can be tricky if you’re new to the Domain area and can’t find valet. We parked in the purple garage and walked about a block to the restaurant. Parking would be the only drawback about this place.

Jqiatx: .Chefs kiss.Dietary restrictions: They were champs. Marco was phenomenal in guiding me with my dietary needs.Parking: They have an old 3 lot layout. None interconnected. So pick one at a time I guess. And may the odds be in your favor.Kid-friendliness: Not a kid spot.
Jackie Giusti: . The MIXIOTE lamb was huge, but basically just melts off the bone. Heavily sauced, so would get it with less next time, but it was an amazing dish. The margaritas were also well made. There was struggle to understand the differences in the pescado dishes, but ultimately went with the Mojo de ajo and was completely impressed. Immensely flavorful and well made.Went again and got both the enchiladas Pato and the pescado zarandeado... They said the pescado wouldn't be spicy but I found it to be incredibly hot. I think it was chipotle that was put on their brussel sprouts. When I could not eat it, they brought out the mojo de Ajo which was very flavorless in comparison to the last time I had bought it. The duck enchiladas were very good however.
Abi Tammen: It doesn’t get any better than this. Nothing here is bad. Close your eyes and order. You’ll love everything.Happy hours excellent so many good app choices.I recommend the crêpe dessert and the café to end your night.Unfortunately, it’s not as big as it used to be pretty sad about that. Fonda San Miguel if you actually read these, please make your crêpe dessert back to its original size.

Ilse Ashbrook: Mexican food at its best. The frozen margaritas are of the caliber only found in snobbier settings: not too sweet, excellent texture and taste. My waitress, Sidney, has been superb. Helping me decide between the two distinct but equally delicious looking poblanos—and they have Pozole! There is love in this food, and as a seasoned patron of Mexican restaurants across Texas, this hidden gem is absolutely one of the few I consider the finest. …A word about the atmosphere: if you are not in the mood for posing with supermodels at some of the hip, central and overrun upscale Mexican restaurants but want the same quality food/ drink, sans the ‘scene’ you have come to the right place!Dietary restrictions: So grateful to have so many clearly labeled GF options! I will not be going hungry here - or have to worry about flour-laden sauces ruining my world.

Lisa James: ! Everything is delicious from the queso to the enchiladas to the drinks. Never had a bad meal here. One of the little things we love is the music: they tend to play a mix of blues, soul and older classic/pop rock. We'll be having a conversation and all of a sudden we'll all stop talking and start singing, lol!
David Miranda: I must admit that this place was not one of my favorite places years ago. But now, the food is great, the staff are friendly, attentive and give great service. If you haven't been here in a while then you are missing out! If you haven't been here at all or in a while then I highly recommend you checking out soon. The food is delicious!
Tracy Hall: Have been a customer since 80s love the food. The nachos are made the way God intended. Alcohol is always cold, the servers are amazing.Wheelchair accessibility: There are plenty of tables for wheelchairs. Staff are more than helpful. Customers are usually really considerate about moving or letting people by.

Isai Lopez: Best in Austin for Mexican food craves. I can’t stress this enough. “Pastor” is my all time favorite in this joint, and you can’t go wrong with a freshly baked bread from across the room. I been coming here for the past years and have a lot of my friends and family hooked to this place.

Jasen Henry: if you're in the area go check it outAtmosphere: 5/5 …
Baowendsom Stephane Bonkoungou: I don't know if it's fatigue. But I didn't find the service extraordinary. The meal, on the other hand, was great.
Alice Kim: I visited Austin because I heard it is famous for its beautiful sunsets. The road to the restaurant has beautiful scenery, so it seems like a good place to take a drive. However, there were so many people that it was almost impossible to find a table, so we couldn't eat the food and had to be satisfied with watching the beautiful sunset on the outdoor terrace.
Bill “Catman” Catoire: This place is huge. Plenty of seating for everyone. The views are spectacular. Right on the lake. Multi levels to sit at. Food was served in a timely manner. Combo fajitas hot the spot. Full bar and they can make any drink. Our waitress made us feel welcomed. Chatorie our waitress kept our drinks full . Very attentive and had a very positive, can do vibe.

donna brandt: Seven of us were there to celebrate birthdays. We were seated promptly. Service from Liz was outstanding. I highly recommend the beef cheeks. We shared plates.Parking: Valet was easy and affordable at $10
Disha Khanna: . I went there for a team dinner and was really impressed by the food and service. The portions are decent and most of the food is good. The desserts especially the mango mousse with passion fruit was really good. In terms of food, the only thing missing were some good options for vegetarians who don’t like mushrooms but apart from that it is a great place!Vegetarian options: Not quite a lot of options
Annie Mack: We had a great time here for brunch. The restaurant is so pretty and the live jazz music was a great touch! It was quiet inside, too, not noisy at all like other restaurants can be. We got the mini cinnamon rolls, shakshuka, and yogurt parfait. They were all great. The one tricky thing is parking. Even with validation it was $14 to valet. I'd recommend this place to anyone looking for an upscale, comfortable brunch!

Lisa Sapp: My husband eats here all the time whenever he is the neighborhood during the week while he is working. It was my 1st time here. Everything was great. The food is delicious. They have a pretty good selection to choose from. The prices are reasonable. Our waitress was extremely nice and helpful. Good atmosphere. Family friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our order even though they were packed for lunch on a Saturday. I really enjoyed my visit!
Amos Barron: A good place if you want to just get away from the stress and I'm not just talking about the drinks good service good food and the atmosphere is great you're going to have to see it for yourself but keep in mind this is not burger king so don't mess it up for others Austin tx doesn't have many places like this leftKid-friendliness: They have a playground so Don't forget the your kids
