Reuben Reyes: Ordered a mole chicken enchiladas plate with unsweetened ice tea. Right away we were served complementary chips with fresh green and red salsa. Plate came in short time and the dish was piping hot and I could smell the aroma of the mole. The plate came with rice and refried beans. Everything was authentic and tasted wonderful especially the mole enchiladas. The building inside and out is aged but has good historical character. Very much enjoyed dining here and the service was excellent:Parking: They have a free parking lot but it was full, I ended up parking on the street just a half block away from restaurant. Street parking is also free.
Hao Wen Kong: Great food, great vibrant atmosphere and nice waiters. ❤️❤️ The parking is full during the evening. Parking off the street.

Kaitlyn Skinner: We always try to branch out and eat somewhere new, but end up deciding to eat here because we love it so much! Great queso and guac, and an awesome menu. It's fancy enough that we'll eat here before the ballet, but also can be relaxed enough to stop in when just strolling downtown. You definitely need to try it!
Leana Divine: My chile en nogada was tasty and I loved that it came with a side of fruit. I also enjoyed my cactus margarita. They have a gorgeous garden for outdoor dining and all the tables are spaced out well. They took our temperatures when we arrived and I felt safe eating there.

Jqiatx: .Chefs kiss.Dietary restrictions: They were champs. Marco was phenomenal in guiding me with my dietary needs.Parking: They have an old 3 lot layout. None interconnected. So pick one at a time I guess. And may the odds be in your favor.Kid-friendliness: Not a kid spot.
Jackie Giusti: . The MIXIOTE lamb was huge, but basically just melts off the bone. Heavily sauced, so would get it with less next time, but it was an amazing dish. The margaritas were also well made. There was struggle to understand the differences in the pescado dishes, but ultimately went with the Mojo de ajo and was completely impressed. Immensely flavorful and well made.Went again and got both the enchiladas Pato and the pescado zarandeado... They said the pescado wouldn't be spicy but I found it to be incredibly hot. I think it was chipotle that was put on their brussel sprouts. When I could not eat it, they brought out the mojo de Ajo which was very flavorless in comparison to the last time I had bought it. The duck enchiladas were very good however.
Abi Tammen: It doesn’t get any better than this. Nothing here is bad. Close your eyes and order. You’ll love everything.Happy hours excellent so many good app choices.I recommend the crêpe dessert and the café to end your night.Unfortunately, it’s not as big as it used to be pretty sad about that. Fonda San Miguel if you actually read these, please make your crêpe dessert back to its original size.

Liz Gonzalez: I'm not from Austin and I try and get recommendations of places. I have been stopping here for breakfast for more than a year but not just breakfast I tried the special for lunch as well . All been amazing plates and tacos, but yet I seem to always get the same taco because is amazing and I crave it from the tortilla to the bean and cheese with bacon . It just my favorite taco for me! I really like the homemade food and the coziness of the restaurant.
Varian Hans: As a south texan I grew up eating every Sunday lunch at my abulitas. La cocina de consuelo puts the same love and care into their food and tastes like my abulita’s lemonada, queso fresco enchiladas, frijoles, and tortillas. We happily drive all the way from Georgetown… we’re now die hard fans.They also hosted a large group for a birthday party recently. Our group was so well taken care of and we were thankful for their kind hospitality.

Nicolas Letolle: Nice little and cozy place with great Mexican food. Everything is fresh and made locally. The tortilla was a great addition to the dish. We also tried the flan which definitely had a homemade taste.The service was very enjoyable and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody that is looking for an authentic Mexican breakfast with a great atmosphere. Thanks for this great time.
