D Shands: OR the Austin Stir Fry

Shawn Haupage: I don’t normally eat vegan food but I thought this sandwich tasted excellent.

Kavitha Krishnan: This is definitely a must go place for vegan and vegetarian food. The Tarzen big salad was so filling, refreshing and filled with portobellos and broccoli. The veggie royale is also a great choice for a burger sandwich fusion. Many vegan eateries have high amount of salt and soy, but this place uses fresh and in house ingredients. The ambience was quite busy and the tables were kinda sticky, but those didn’t matter because the food was delicious!

Michaela Gallagher: , they have gluten free bread options, and the staff is attentive and kind. Great place to come and hang out, meet people and feel like you’re part of the community.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free Friendly

Janell Eckes: FANTASTIC food!! The spicy chipotle pesto was amazing! Wish I could have brought a jar of it home. The curry was far better than we expected. Big portions of both.My friend said the coffee was a bit weak, but my cortado was excellent!Really friendly, relaxed service.Chalkboard walls in the bathroom stalls with buckets of chalk provided 😁

Nika Moeini: Reuben sandwich at Bouldin Creek Cafe was really yummy as was the salad I had! So nice to find a place with nourishing food in Austin. The blueberry cornbread was also indeed worth it and delicious. The staff are nice and helped my friend who got the jackfruit curry which was too spicy for her. It was busy but we were able to get seated pretty soon. Overall I would recommend it and I’m really happy this place exists. I appreciate the gluten free options as well.Vegetarian options: An abundant menu of optionsDietary restrictions: Yay for yummy gluten free bread!

Persephone Underworld: Stopped here to catch up with friends while traveling. Eat outside at night for a Tumblr aesthetic. Great food, great service and not a bad price for what you get. The blueberry cornbread changed me. Not much in way of parking but it's worth hunting for a spot or maybe ride sharing. Support this eclectic business with a variety of food for everyone!

Austin K: They have an extensive vegetarian/vegan menu with a ton of variety--breakfast food, mexican food, comfort food, desserts, drinks, and most of it is delicious. My only complaints were that the desserts were often too sweet and a little one note, and the surcharge they add makes it pretty expensive depending on what you get. Still worth it though.

We had the KBBQ burrito and Jorge's nachos which were both perfect in spices and topped generously. Finally returned today for the Big Brunch Burrito and Jorge's nachos again, and for the tots at The Vegan Junk Food truck. So goooood!

Carmen T: This is the best spot in Austin for vegan tacos. Amber, Colby and Jordan = A team. Tasty food, great customer service. The night people are eh and the food doesn’t hit quite as good as the daytime crew. Also, the night people never answer the phone, but luckily they now have online ordering.Food: 5/5 …

Andrew Crimmins: The chorizo brunch burrito was outstanding! Their homemade sauces were great too add to the burrito. Highly recommend.

Austin McDaniel: Buffalo burrito is great! Awesome service too.

Janell Bruneau: .Soooo good!!

Sky Nett: 10/10 reccomend! Even while busy, they answered every question I had with delight. The food portions to price are definitely there. Very affordable! The service was better than great, and the atmosphere was cozy and chill. They have a grocery style section on each side with lots of great vegan packaged foods that you won't find many places. They have soy free and gluten-free options. Oh! And Indian food options!Dietary restrictions: Vegan/Plant Based

Lisa Stultz: First timer to The Vegan Yacht. Loved the Freeto Burrito. I can definitely see why The Chronicle named it best vegan burrito in Austin. The chips & chili con queso were also super tasty. It’s a bit of a vegan grocery store, too, with a frozen foods section, individual canned and bottled drinks, plus a wall of snacks and chocolates—all vegan. Will be back again next time I’m in town.Vegetarian options: Menu is actually all vegan.

R Ruud: Awesome tostadas! Great service. Happy atmosphere. With such an amazing menu, it was tough to choose. I went with the cauliflower walnut chorizo tostadas. They were wonderful. As was the Spirit Animal sour pale ale made at the brewery across the street.

Ethan Williams: Very good vegan food. The Mac n Cheese is 🔥Would recommend to a friendVegetarian options: All vegan

Fletch Brendan Good: The Mac N Cheeze, with mushrooms and either tempeh or BBQ seitan, is just fantastic

A Andrew: I ordered one of the tempeh bowls with a chimichurri sauce. Overall the meal was pretty good. Something about the chimichurri seemed a little off... It's very vinegary... Couldn't really taste any garlic, spice, or salt coming through. The portion is just enough. If there were one teaspoon less of rice I might have starved though lol. The tempeh was really the star of the show very flavorful and nice satisfying texture.Vegetarian options: Food is all 100% vegan.

A: Updated review:I tried the new counter culture food truck and the chipotle lentil nachos are my FAVE! I’m sad I missed the vegan cheesecake they had for a limited time the other week, but that just means I’ll have to go again! If you’re wanting dessert after Zucchini Kill is right next door too!!

Evan Schwartz: This place had been one of my favorite vegan spots in Austin since 2016!

Sierra Tyler: The mac and cheese is the best I’ve ever had in my entire life. It is packed with flavor and somehow is healthier for you at the same time! Their Mac and cheese bowls come with protein and a veggie, and it’s honestly enough for 2 meals.Vegetarian options: 100% vegan

E S: Recommended dishes East Side Nachos, Vegan

Shweta Kadkol: I wish I could give 4.5 starsLoved my Buddha bowl , thoroughly enjoyed their salad dressing . I was pleased to know that they source 100% organic supplies . My only nitpick was the quantity of the dressing .Overall cute place and location . The owner was a darling and patient with my indecisiveness 😀

Bailey Clifton: Food: 5/5

Alexander Latimer: Food is Phenomenal! I'm not sure where they get their brisket meat. Is it grass fed? Is it wild caught salmon?Maybe and I don't knowWheelchair accessibility: Very accessible

Rachel Winchester: Originally my review was not good. However, the problem was addressed and fixed immediately. I changed the stars given because of the speed in which the company took to contact me, address the problem and to resolve it. They explained what happened, apologized and gave me back the money I paid and gift. I truly appreciate the manner in which everything was handled.

Charlie: , it was so good and that’s saying something because I dont like regular tempeh, so I recommend that taco! I also tried the chickpea gluten free taco shell and it was just as yummy as the spelt. Their walnut iced coffee was great! Their smoothies were delicious too. Lovely service their staff are so sweet. Thank you so much team!

Lauren Donahoe: Absolutely amazing vegan food! I wanted to try it all but settled on the wild mushroom sushi salad and tacos. Everything came out quickly and was so flavorful. I especially appreciated how friendly everyone was and the recommendations they had. Will definitely be back, especially to try the stir fry!Vegetarian options: All veganDietary restrictions: All vegan options with everything made to orderParking: Free parking lotKid-friendliness: Outdoor patioWheelchair accessibility: Steps to order

Jesús Salas: SO good. Had 3 tacos and a cacao drink. All were delicious. Staff was super nice. They had indoor seating, WiFi, and a wall plug available. Plus a restroom. Area in front of food truck is covered. You can tell they don’t skimp on the ingredients once you had one bite of the food so it’s worth the price. I also bought a tincture and mushroom mix. Would love to return to try more items in the future!

Everest: Amazing flavorsRecommended dishes …

Lisa Stultz: I appreciate the fact that’s it’s all vegan, but both the burger and hawt dog were too spicy for me. Granted, I’m weak. My middle name should be weaksauce, so my thoughts should come with a grain of salt when making your decision to come here or not. But for those of you out there who love flavor without the heat, you might want to o skip here burger & hawt dog.

A brief narrative...The Eat and Chill award is not only about the food, but also about the relax after eating because the environment is just full of good vibes. Sitting at the table under the shade of the trees was very relaxing. The service was out of this world. Very good people and positive interactions. I would most definitely go back. Thank you for the excellent service and great atmosphere. 🙏🏾

Skye Mendez: Delicious vegan food. Nom nom nom. Prices are great, as it includes fries. Ranch is outstanding! I can’t believe it was vegan. My favorite are their pastor tacos, spicy fries and the big mak burgerFood: 5/5Recommended dishes Fries …

Cristina Somolinos: Really good food across the board. We ordered a variety of tacos for eight people; all were generous, filling, well seasoned. Also had BBQ chickn sandwich - good texture protein and very satisfying with smothered onions. Sides of fries and onion rings were crisp. To-go order on a cold night; most other trucks were closed but I can see that this park is hopping on a good day.

Roshan Dathathri: Easily the best burritos I've had. Have been going to their food trucks since 8 years or so. Consistent, reliable, flavorful, yummy food. Lots of variety with different spice levels and everything's vegan. One of my favorite food trucks.Spicy chickpea burrito with spinach tortilla and chimichuri seitan burrito with cayenne tortilla are our favorites. Spicy chickpea is Indian style channa masala and it's better than channa masala in most Indian restaurants; its Indian spicy, so beware. We also like black bean and pan seared tofu. For any burrito wrap, make sure to add quinoa and rice mix. Otherwise, it might be too light. We have also tried their bowls, mostly when we'd want to eat with fork or spoon.Has a parking lot but might be full during peak hours.Pros: Flavorful spicy and delicious, Original and doesn't try to mock non-vegan recipes, No fake meatVegetarian options: Fully vegan

Terri Levine: My favorite place to go when the 'mood' strikes. Went walking there for lunch today and was heartbroken to see the food truck no longer there on S. 1st Street! Where did you go?!?!? : (Vegetarian options: Chick Pea Spinach Wrap! Yummm!!

Denni Harp: What an unexpected delicious meal! Stopped on my way to the airport and ordered the spicy chickpea wrap. So fresh and delicious and huge! Ordered the unsweetened hibiscus tea - great to find delicious plant based food and non sugary drinks. The guys working there were really nice too - A+

Adriana Lopez: The blackened Tofu wrap was super flavorful! I highly recommend it!

Rebecca Ciprus: Excellent wraps and refreshing drinks! Tried the Blackened Tofu and BBQ Seitan wrap. Love how they cook their tofu here. Really thin strips but still juicy inside. Also like that their wraps have a lil bit of crunch on the outside from the grill. The BBQ Seitan was great but a little more one dimensional compared to the Blackened Tofu due to all the bbq sauce, which was delicious and ginger-y. Highly recommend the Frozen Cucumber Lemonade! Can’t wait to try more things soon.

Adora Rose: Spinach smoothie was fantastic! Rosemary Fries were great! Huge portion for wraps.

Sachin Hubli: Best vegan and healthy food on a Go in Austin.

Alina Novikova: Soooo good 👍🏿 👌 👏 😋 🙌

Vida Sternberg: Food is always so good! I would recommend the berry smoothie and/or the blackened tofu wrap or the chimichurri wrap! A great loyalty program and friendly staff!

DANIEL FERNANDO TORRES SALAZAR: Fresh, delicious and affordable.

Young Sacrifice: Wonderful business. They serve vegan food even on mondays!!Mondays!!! I am so satisfied.
