Bo Winter: Always enjoy coming to Capital Grille when the opportunity arises. Food is fantastic and the wait staff is always engaging to contribute to the experience; not simply asking if we need a refill or "thinking about dessert." Obviously a bit pricey, so this isn't a location where I frequently can be found, but for special occasions, I would always recommend it for a nice date out, business dinner, etc.

Andrew Goh: Yesterday, heavy rain in Austin led us to seek refuge in a nearby bar while hunting for a satisfying BBQ joint. Fortunately, we stumbled upon a charming, slightly upscale restaurant nearby. Serendipitously, we encountered a fellow countrywoman at the reception who warmly welcomed us and escorted us to our table. She graciously engaged us in conversation and treated us to complimentary wine, while also recommending must-try dishes. We began with the South African lobster tail, delighting in its perfectly cooked meat and buttery sauce, which paired impeccably with our wine selection. As an avid oyster enthusiast, I couldn't resist ordering half a dozen, savoring their briny sweetness. Although the tuna tartare was fresh, it lacked the flavor punch I anticipated, though still enjoyable. Our meal concluded with lamb chops accompanied by Brussels sprouts cooked with bacon bits. While the sprouts were overly sweet for my taste, the lamb chops suffered from slight overcooking, possibly due to their thin cut, diminishing the meat's inherent sweetness during grilling. Great service and attentive!

Brandi: Food was great, perfectly cooked steaks, amazing sauces and sides, everything was perfect.Amazing service as well, our server Chris G. was attentive while leaving us space, and gave great service and recommendations throughout the night. Thank you Chris and the whole Capital team!

a rob: Place is pretty good. I normally goto Eddie V’s but I was super impressed. Good was good. Ribeye with balsamic glaze done pitsburg was super tender and flavorful. Cream of spinach, lobster Mac, mash potato’s, potato’s Au Gratin were all good. I still think eddy V’s waiters are more on point and professional. Capital is definitely going to be visited quite often.

Karissa Pfeffer: and tiramisu to bring home. The service was top notch. The next time we are in Austin we will be back!

Alex Eisenhauer: Was a wonderful experience filled with incredible food and had above and beyond service from our waitress Brandy. She nailed all recommendations, knew in depth of each item, and was pleasant to talk to. Everything was nailed besides our desserts. Starting for drinks the MEZZANNOTE was great with a vegan foam and smooth flavor. Satan's Circus was also good, being one of their most popular drinks, but did have a spicy kick. I preferred the mezzannote. Appetizer wise, we did the squash blossoms which were incredible and had a ton of flavor with the ricotta, garlic bread which was addicting, and also did the Bruschetta prime steak trimmings which is essentially trimmed steak they sell with bread. Bruschetta was very good and was a large portion, but i do wish the cheese was melted more or possibly shredded onto the dish as it was just a slice laid right in the middle. Main course wise we did the Blue crab tagliolini which was amazing and definitely a take home portion. Tagliolini was one of the best pastas I've had in Austin next to a pasta at Sammies. Potato gnocchi had great texture and was filled with amazing flavor. Another powerful dish. The only negatives were of the desserts. We were LET DOWN by the desserts. We had the olive oil cake, which was bland and surprisingly dry, and the cream filled doughnuts which were just ok. The desserts just felt like we were eating them, giving us no desire to look forward to taking another bite. We were comped for the desserts, but maybe we should have ordered the Tiramisu as it seems like that was the only dessert being walked out of the kitchen that night. Overall we will be back for their Pastas and Apps.Parking: Downtown so there is street parking if you find it, Pay parking lots, and valet.

Greg S: ever. There are a few nice touches, specially around the open kitchen and wine cellar - but it feels very much the familiar comfort spot we all know and love. The food is just as good as it was. We had the bread, octopus and bone marrow to start; all as full of flavor as can be and cooked to perfection. Our favorite here is the filet, and it was done exactly to a perfect medium rare - so soft in fact I was able to cut it with a spoon - and the char on the outside added that beautiful texture and richness that only open flame can. We also had the spaghetti and the carrots, both solid classics and very tasty. The service was on top form, every member of staff was only too happy to welcome us and put the extra touches to a wonderful evening dinner.Get yourself a reservation before everyone else realizes they’re back open. Just as before, Red Ash is not one to miss!

Rich Eklund: ! Everything was just as good as I had been dreaming of since last year. Excellent Italian food with fantastic service all at a reasonable price. Easy 10/10

Connor Brady: Easily the best Italian food in Austin, and in the running for best in the country.Chef owner… Italian food that looks, and tastes, like it’s in a magazine.Highly recommend the seafood pasta, it’s off the charts. That said, we’ve tried a few things on the menu and nothing was less than superb.

Anthony Holguin: 1 year since I've last eaten here and still dream of this meal. Cocktails, food, bread, desserts, YOU CAN'T GO WRONG! My wife and I have traveled all over the U.S, Europe, and South America, and still this is top 1-3 of places to eat on our list. Definitely the best restaurant in the U.S.A. Service is outstanding, and the Chef's table is an experience like no other. When my wife and I go to other restaurants and experience their chefs table, we are always disappointed because we compare everything to Red Ash. Red ash, please finish remodeling. My wife and I miss you and will keep calling every month until you re open. Thank you for one of the best meals/experiences we have ever had.

Louis Khalifeh: Excellent experience. Patient and caring service. The food is delicious and the presentation of each dish is superb.the selection is fresh and interesting. There's something for every palate. Great place for a date, or to take your significant other. The atmosphere is mellow and comfortable. I can't think of any negatives. Recently I brought my wife and 1 year old. He was a bit cranky because it was late and he was sleepy, but the staff accommodated us so well I really wanted to thank them so much.

Shweta Shenoy: A great experience with chocolate and cheese fondue. Great waiter. Recommend this place.

Charleen Firlus: . It allowed us to pick from a variety of glazes, oils, and cheeses. I am not sure how much drinks differ from location to location, but I received the Love Martini.

San Holly: I highly recommend asking for Louis to be your server if it going to be your first time trying this restaurant. He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and professional. He gave the best price combinations and his recommendations did not disappoint. It was our first time at the Melting Pot and we got the lunch combo with the cheese fondue added. We really enjoyed the quattro formaggio cheese. Next time i visit i want to try the Classic Alpine. We chose the Coq Au Vin as the cooking style for our main entree. It was absolutely delicious and went so great with the steak and veggiesThe cookies n cream marshmallow dream chocolate was to die for 🤤

dbodai: Spectacular experience at the bar 6pm Saturday night 4/27! Walked in and every seat was taken at the bar, but one of the bar tenders saw that we were struggling to find a spot and immediately jumped into action. He welcomed us and let us know he's working on getting us in. He was able to rearrange a reservation on the fly and get us a couple of seats quickly, which was great because we were in a hurry to eat and make it to a show. The next bar tender then took incredible care of us with amazing drinks and super quick and attentive service. We got our orders in right away and the food came out quickly even though the place was busy. Crab cake was on point as it always is. The entire experience was wonderful, but the bar staff going above and beyond was what really impressed. Cheers to that crew!!!

Travis Chatfield: Went here for dinner after my wedding and they made it a really special occasion for us. Charlie our server was awesome, super friendly and explained everything well. The atmosphere was nice, everything was incredibly clean and well prepped. The food was also incredible, I got the scallops, my newlywed wife got the steak special and for sides we got broccolini, crab fried rice, and lobster cheddar mashed potatoes. Can't even decide what was my favorite, it was all on point. I'm also impressed how good the oysters were for the price.I will 100% be back and I would recommend this place if you have a special occasion coming up.Parking: Valet is 15$, they do take cards and apple pay.

Alicia Hairgirl: When they say kid friendly they mean it. My husband and I got to enjoy a nice dinner while the staff doted on our daughter. Everything was perfect. Great last meal of our vacation!Kid-friendliness: They have a 3 course kids menu that is so special and thoughtful. Perfect place to celebrate a special occasion with the family. The staff seem to authentically like kids too.

Nora R: medium rare. TRY IT!I had the Texas redfish with 2oz crab meat from their special. It was delightful. Same goes with their Brussel sprouts.Joshua was very attentive and efficient. Excellent service. Restaurant was busy that evening. Booking is essential.

James Skinner: Great atmosphere and the food was bangin'!Recommended dishes Grilled Asparagus, Usda Prime 18oz Bone-In Strip, Maine Lobster Bisque, Truffled Macaroni and Cheese, Bananas Foster on Fire …

Prakash Patel: Unbelievable chocolates that my wife ordered. They make a BARK chocolate that is an amazing experience. It is Vanilla Chai flavored bark chocolate.I never thought chocolate would ve so good and was amazingly surprised at how smooth and flavorful the bark was.At first I almost fainted at the price until I tried it. An amazing experience from the time I put it in my mouth..the flavors burst and I could taste the Chai flavors flowing out. Being Indian gave me the advantage of experiencing this amazing flavor. I was mesmerized.Go try it and you will see for yourself how amazing this is.

Matt Schwartz: The best compliment I can come up with for a meal is to call it “memorable”. I have had maybe 6 or 7 meals that I still truly remember. I remember the people I was with, and the jokes we made, and the music that was playing. But I remember these things because of the meal itself.Mushroom risotto with braised brussel sprouts and salmon in a remoulade sauce at my uncle’s farm. We drank wine and played Cards Against Humanity and my Romanian uncle won every hand.Thanksgiving dinner 2021, my brother and his girlfriend and my best friends and their two children and the most tender turkey and the most caramelized fall vegetables and the sweetest pumpkin and apple pies.A 12 course sushi dinner with my CEO and our colleagues, and we were celebrating a new client we’d taken on. None of us could believe how well-balanced each bite was – fish, and pomegranate seeds, and lime juice and spices and herbs and no one flavor washed out any other. This Intero meal was memorable on that level. We ordered every app. We split a bottle of wine. I had the rigatoni with rabbit. And then we all tried the chocolate truffles and left stuffed and exhausted.I’ll be going back.

Mike Ruiz: From the moment we stepped into Intero, we were swept into a culinary journey that was as delightful as it was memorable. The ambiance of the restaurant set the stage for what was to be an exquisite dining experience. The bucatini with broccoli, sottocenere al tartufo, burnt garlic, and chive was a revelation. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the sauce—a harmonious blend of flavors—was nothing short of amazing. It was a dish that showcased the kitchen’s skill in elevating simple ingredients to new heights. My wife’s choice, the charred cabbage with hot mustard, parmesan, and crispy onion, was equally impressive. The cabbage, often underrated, was transformed into a star dish with its smoky char and the zesty punch of the hot mustard. It was, without exaggeration, the best tasting cabbage we’ve ever had.But what truly made our evening special was the service, particularly from one of the employees who we originally thought was a hostess but turned out to be the Co-owner, Krystal. Her warm welcome and genuine friendliness made us feel like honored guests. Her attention to detail and care in ensuring our dining pleasure was exceptional. We left Intero with full bellies and warm hearts, already planning our next visit. It’s not just the food that will bring us back, but the people who make Intero more than just a restaurant—it’s a dining experience to cherish. We highly recommend Intero to anyone looking for a remarkable Italian meal in Austin. Whether it’s your first visit or your fiftieth, Intero is sure to impress.

Muneeb Mustafa: This place is magical, I encourage you to sit outside and enjoy the ambiance. The service is phenomenal, the staff makes you feel at home and caters to your needs. We got an assortment of stuff, and we’re left satisfied.

Sarah Stolusky: Loved dinner at Intero! We enjoyed a few apps and pizzas with wine and it was all beautiful and delicious. 2 of our party also really enjoyed their mocktail options. It was a bit chilly inside so we moved to their covered patio that had fans. Would absolutely go back and take advantage of their happy hour!Parking: There’s a lot but you’ll likely need to arrive early to snag a spot.

Kayla Smith: was delightful - clearly fresh, thoughtfully paired to be complimentary, and so well balanced. The service was knowledge & attentive without being intrusive on our date night. So good that if we were local, this would become a regular semi-special occasion stop for us.Dietary restrictions: Very considerate of allergies & restrictions - the waiter politely inquired and double-checked with the kitchen before taking our order in a practiced manner that made it clear they must do that regularly and take your responses seriously.

Shawn Bashelor: This establishment made my daughter's wedding proposal dinner amazing! The staff were so spectaculor treating us like royality.. The owner should be proud! The food was very delicious and tasted like it was made with love in it. A big shout out to your whole staff for an amazing restaurant!Dietary restrictions: They have options for those who can't have dairy and shelfish. They also have other proteins not mentioned here.
