Erica Au: Took adult swim lessons here in 2019 with Shay and she was absolutely fantastic. It's not an easy feat as an adult to swallow your pride and be taught to swim by a teacher that's getting ready to go to prom but Shay made the experience very comfortable. I think most adults who take swim lessons are generally afraid of water but I felt very safe with Shay. The staff was pretty friendly and I never had any issues with payment or scheduling.

Sarah Haslinger: I’ve been trying to get my 5 year old into swim lessons since she was 3, but because of the pandemic and everyone wanting lessons now, it was so difficult. My daughter ended up doing a week long summer session at the Swim School of Austin a few weeks ago. It was supposed to be a group lesson, but she was the only one. The teachers were wonderful and not only made me feel more comfortable and safe in the water but also helped her with her anxiety around sticking her head in the water. She’s a more confident swimmer, and it was an overall great experience! Thanks Swim School!

Brandy George: We love the swim school! They are really smart about teaching the kids things that could save them in water right away, while they work with each individual child in every lesson multiple times and make it a lot of fun. My 2yr old and 8yr old are going to lessons there. They have great customer service and are very helpful working with you to get your child in a class asap.

Zena Richie: Our experience with Coach Emily is FANTASTIC. She is kind and firm in her style of teaching, keeping the kids focused and safe. She creates a fun and an engaging environment for the little swimmers with creative themes. My child loves coming to her class.
Patrycja Krasuń: Shout out to the team John, Brittany and Emily! We’ve been in Emler for the past 3 years and John has been navigating our family through ups and downs. My son had a hard time getting comfortable in the water because each semester he had a different teacher. In fall semester last year we had an opportunity to do private classes with Emily, and she turned my son around and now he loves splashing. And all it took was just 5 classes with her! Emily is passionate about teaching, she’s engaging, fun and a true GEM in this school. The problem is that she not supposed to teach his level anymore and if that’s the case, unfortunately, we won’t be returning in fall with my son. I could afford to do private classes, but Emler has the most expensive rates in Austin, and I feel like it’s a fair deal, especially that I’m not certain whether the teacher gets the appropriate cut from that or if it all goes towards the school.
Tom McCarty: This school is the best. They have taught both of our kids to swim. The staff are amazing.

The instructors are knowledgeable and make the lessons engaging and fun. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. Emler Swim School is a fantastic place for children to learn how to swim.

My son's group is wild and Britney has done a masterful job of harnessing their energy in a positive way. She brings tremendous enthusiasm to every class and makes the experience fun as well as educational for the kids. My son has made great strides across various strokes under her guidance.
Jordan DiBona: Brittany and Mary at the Westlake location are AMAZING. We have been going to Elmer since our baby was 3 months and now at a year old he has 6 seconds of breath control and is already starting to swim. My wife felt apprehensive about putting the baby under water at first, and the instructors have made her feels confident and more comfortable. She and our baby enjoy the classes so much each week.

Kaveh Espili: I absolutely loved my stay here. I stayed here for several weeks during the summer of 2019 remember my time here very fondly. The staff is extremely hospitable and the property is beautiful. The rooms are exceptionally clean and modern and the salt water pool is amazing. I’m planning another trip to Austin this summer and will definitely be booking at the fairmont!

Beka Dougherty: Stayed in town for almost a week for work. While the rooms was very clean and comfortable, the location was close to lots of great places to eat... it was the service of the staff that really set this stay above other places we've stayed. Everyone on staff that we interacted with was friendly and helpful.One staff member that went above and beyond for us all week was Brigida. She was spectacular. Our room was always fresh and clean. She smiled and interacted with us in a warm and cordial demeanor. Hotels are easy to find, there is one on every corner. BUT. Good staff is not easy to find! Keep it up JW Marriott!
