Deb Fink: What an incredible slice of Austin. My friends and I arrived after a redeye flight and had a sumptuous breakfast in a cozy warm eclectic café that was full of personality. There was a line out the door when they opened at 7 AM and we are so glad we discovered it. Will definitely return.Dietary restrictions: They had a nice selection of gluten free items. Delicious corn blueberry pancakes!Kid-friendliness: Many kids eating happily while we were there.
Yogi Young: It is a very out of the box and enjoyable place to eat. The staff was super friendly. There was about a 20-minute wait for a table over lunch. Prices were reasonable and the food was very good. Be careful if you park across the street. Somewhere, there is a parking meter that we were not aware of, and I was hit with a $20 parking ticket. But I would definitely go back!

Dan: Good coffee spot to study/work from. The staff were lovely people!Service: 5/5 …
Yahya Gahbiche: This place has a really cozy vibe to it, they’re usually selling art that’s up on the walls. The glass windows add a nice bright feel feeling to the space. Last week I tried their iced Almond Joy which is has coconut and almond mocha. It was so good 🤤 I wasn’t expecting the combination of the flavors to taste that good. The coffee is also well balanced, this is coming from a coffee connoisseur. They also have lots of sweet and savory food options. Try it out!
Alexander Paulavec: Damn good coffee! Fast and friendly service.
EK Torres: Caramel + hazelnut latte was good

Ismael Sanchez: I went with some friends to cafe no se, as soon as we walked in we were greated, the staff are very nice and know the menu well. One of my favorite drink was the afternoon delight, the mangonada pour over was also on point. For the table we ordered the cafe spread, the seasonal tartine and the deviled eggs. Still thinking about the laffa bread and hummus. The executive chef was so nice and recommended crispy mushroom with bok choy, Tigre Del Mar, kale salad. They were beyond my expectations. We were full with all the good food but still made room for desssert. The pastry chef did an amazing job with peanut brownie sundae! The mango coconut verrine was also amazing . Highly recommend for anyone to try this place out.
Anna Escamilla: Came here for a pre-graduation celebration, as well as celebrating my best friend’s acceptance into grad school, and also celebrating my sister’s first pregnancy! Of course the hotel is beautiful, but I wanted to leave a review for Café No Sé specifically because it has become a favorite. The timing of service is prompt. This particular visit we enjoyed a long and leisurely brunch and got to try some pastries and dessert options as well. I always park in the neighborhood off site and walk.Regarding the food, I am biased growing up in Texas and eating gourmet brunch fare my whole life. But, Café No Sé did not disappoint! Their Kimchi hash is genius, breakfast sandwich has unique pairings and is a must try, and cowboy scramble was cooked to perfection. Their pancakes are fluffy and moist, and if you’re into ordering a la carte they are very accommodating. My friend also had some allergies and the staff double checked to make sure nothing was cooked with the same kitchen tools as the allergen.Highly recommend for special occasions but the prices and atmosphere also encourage more frequent visits. Just stopping in for a coffee and pastry or sandwich to-go is very easy and quick. I love the creativity within the menu!
Georgia Harper: We have breakfast here occasionally, and always enjoy the atmosphere and the food. Service is always great. Our server today was Hari, and the place was a lot busier than usual, but Hari didn’t miss a beat. We were well taken care of.On the downside, however, we’ve always raved about Amanda Rockman’s croissants, but today, ours was way off. Not flaky, but rather sort of chewy, not in a good way. Wow. Hopefully, it’s a fluke.I didn’t read the bill carefully, my fault, but at home I now see that a second croissant was on the bill, one we didn’t order or get. I’ll be more careful in the future.

Adan Banda: I lived in Paraguay for a number of years and this brought me right back to those days! The empanadas were beautifully made and the chipa! Seriously, the chipa was excellent. If you haven’t tried it then you are missing out! I loved the mate cocido and just how everything here is made with love! The owner is such a hard worker and she really cares about her customers and shop. I came in here with my little girl and the owner was so sweet to her. Support this local business and I promise you won’t be disappointed!
Karin Giardino: I’ve lived in Austin for over ten years & tried at least 50+ coffee shops. This is one of my absolute FAVORITES. It’s an authentic, unique experience. I’d never tried Cuban coffee nor pastries before—after my visit here I fell madly in love with them! Recs: the guava pastry & cuban coffee/espresso.

J. R.: Delicious breakfast food at a very reasonable price. Great hot sauces too.Quick service. A hidden gem for sure!
Gage: Cheap. Delicious. Friendly staff. My favorite place to pop into for breakfast or lunch.
Marisela Guerra: Chicken taco salad was great!
Heidi Meyer: Great little find for a quick breakfast. No sign outside. Breakfast taco you pick what goes in. Delicious.
Robert Wilson: This is a cafeteria in the downstairs of the state office building. No sign outside, just says "OPEN". However, it is open to the public and the food is really good. I have eaten here for years. There are daily specials, usually an entree, 2 vegetables/sides, and a bread. They also have burgers, sandwiches, salads, etc. You can eat in 78701 downtown Austin for less than $10... and this is one of the few places you can do that.
Kaitlin Owen: Nice breakfast taco - good portion, fair price. Perfect option if visiting the capitol

Jeff B (Jeff): I enjoyed my dining experience at la Madeline. The nice layout with tables and chairs both in and outside of the restaurant adds to the relaxing atmosphere. The service is excellent too. The menu offers from small to larger meals that you should be able to choose something to your liking. So whether you are hungry or just want to meet up for coffee and pastries, you should add la Madeline to your list of places to do just that!
