belin patrice: Very good fish and chips. 🍟 Crispy and tender inside. With very good homemade fries. 🍟Impeccable surroundings and service. 👍P.S. The toilets are worth the detour. 🚽
Shivraj Grewal Realtor: If you’re a seafood aficionado, Perla’s in Austin should be at the top of your must-visit list! Nestled in the heart of SoCo, this charming spot offers not only a breezy, upscale ambiance but also dishes that will sweep you off your feet with their freshness and flavor.I recently visited Perla’s with a group of friends, and we kicked off our meal with a mix of oysters and calamari. Each bite was a crisp, delightful start to our seafood adventure. For the main course, my wife enjoyed the sea bass, while I savored the halibut—both dishes were cooked to perfection, highlighting the chefs’ prowess with premium seafood. We didn’t hold back on the sides either; the grits, Brussels sprouts, and snap peas were exceptional. Each side dish was a standout, adding unique textures and flavors to our meal. The service at Perla’s deserves a special mention. It was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. Our server made sure everything arrived on time, and the pacing of the meal was spot on, allowing us to enjoy our dining experience fully without feeling rushed.Overall, Perla’s offers fantastic food paired with top-notch service. It’s a true gem for seafood lovers, promising a culinary experience that’s as delightful as the ocean breeze. Whether you’re planning a casual outing with friends or a special evening out, Perla’s is sure to impress!
Val Kugle: The lobster buccatini is luscious. The pear tart is outstanding. We tried the oyster shooters thinking they were o. The half shell. It was a shot glass with an oyster in it. Being on the appetizer menu it was more booze than anything and the flavors didn't meld well. Should had it's own section and noted as an actual shot. Sometimes you'll get seated next to families with kids so expect that. The service typically very good
Lusi Altman: Upscale area. Good seafood. The Green Curry Clam Chowder was particularly excellent!Parking: Parking is in the garage behind the restaurant. Just take a picture of your license and punch it in at the hostess station for validation.
Michael B: We sat on the patio and the atmosphere out here is just wonderful. So much to see walking around Congress. Beautiful people. The service was top notch from beginning to the end. The seafood is crisp, fresh, and delicious. Probably the best oysters in a half shell I've had, especially the Glacier Bay oysters. And their lobster roll outshines Garbo's by far. Better and fresher lobster and better portion inside the roll. Highly recommend.

Ilse Ashbrook: Mexican food at its best. The frozen margaritas are of the caliber only found in snobbier settings: not too sweet, excellent texture and taste. My waitress, Sidney, has been superb. Helping me decide between the two distinct but equally delicious looking poblanos—and they have Pozole! There is love in this food, and as a seasoned patron of Mexican restaurants across Texas, this hidden gem is absolutely one of the few I consider the finest. …A word about the atmosphere: if you are not in the mood for posing with supermodels at some of the hip, central and overrun upscale Mexican restaurants but want the same quality food/ drink, sans the ‘scene’ you have come to the right place!Dietary restrictions: So grateful to have so many clearly labeled GF options! I will not be going hungry here - or have to worry about flour-laden sauces ruining my world.

Baowendsom Stephane Bonkoungou: I don't know if it's fatigue. But I didn't find the service extraordinary. The meal, on the other hand, was great.
Alice Kim: I visited Austin because I heard it is famous for its beautiful sunsets. The road to the restaurant has beautiful scenery, so it seems like a good place to take a drive. However, there were so many people that it was almost impossible to find a table, so we couldn't eat the food and had to be satisfied with watching the beautiful sunset on the outdoor terrace.
Bill “Catman” Catoire: This place is huge. Plenty of seating for everyone. The views are spectacular. Right on the lake. Multi levels to sit at. Food was served in a timely manner. Combo fajitas hot the spot. Full bar and they can make any drink. Our waitress made us feel welcomed. Chatorie our waitress kept our drinks full . Very attentive and had a very positive, can do vibe.
