Sushi Junai 2: what do users think?

vetamanda1331: I love to go here and get the all you can eat dinner! The sushi is tasty and the staff are very efficient. Some days are more busy than others but I either always get seated immediately or have a 10 minute wait. I go here about once every 2 months.I normally go at lunch time, but you can eat off the lunch menu or the dinner menu. The difference is that the all you can eat lunch menu doesn't include the nigiri and the dinner does.Obviously I always have nigiri and normally a roll or 2. My favorite ones are the Salmon Lovers Roll, Touchdown Roll, and the Red Devils Roll! 🤤I believe it's $40 for the lunch and $50 for the dinner, I will check and comment for clarification once I'm done typing. Anyways, I love this place and the food I would definitely recommend coming here for all your sushi cravings 😄After double checking the prices are correct as of this review date 👍- Amanda

Midori Sushi Austin: what do users think?

Veronica Betts: We came here after the little one wanted nigori, and we saw they have it! We did have to ask for it, specifically, because it's not really on their lunch/brunch menu. However, they kindly obliged! The staff were friendly, and the food was great! We have definitely added this to our regular rotation of restaurants!Kid-friendliness: There were at least 2 other families with young children that were there while we ate. All were welcomed warmly and treated kindly.

Jessica M: Midori NEVER fails to impress me and remain the best sushi place in Austin!! Highly recommend the Marilyn Monroe roll!! And their Midori sauce is to DIE for! I cannot stress enough with how amazing everything about this place is! I wish I could afford to go more often!Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free options available

Mackenzie Zerkel: Fuji apple sake 10/10. Paradise roll 11/10

Megan Partida: . I took my fiance here and he couldn't believe how great it was! It is always my go to spot for sushi!*update 01/2024Still amazing food. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. We drive almost an hour to get here when we are craving good sushi and it's always worth it.

Fukumoto: what do users think?

Yukino Mitani: I’m not in the area but whenever I visit Austin, I go to Fukumoto with no exception.I love everything there but the beets miso soup which was a seasonal in March was amazingly good! I love their Uni Pasta as well. It’s the best thing to wrap up dinner😉Their desserts are unique and good too. I recommend keeping some space for the dessert too.

Shelby White: I have come here for the past 2-3 years and have NEVER had a negative experience with the staff-food or experience. I travel about an hour -hour and a half to come here and we are always willing to wait if we don’t have a reservation. Still contemplating hiring for our wedding and or reception. Most likely will be it.I wish I could comment on the negative reviews.☺️

Alysha: ! We sat at the bar where they made the food in front of us and they had the nicest cook/employees that were catering to us too

Ebisu Japanese Restaurant: what do users think?

Get Up Radio Media: I must I have gone to many sushi restaurants. I truly enjoyed this restaurant. The sushi was so fresh and tasty. Great vegetarian options. Well worth the price. I feel you would enjoy the service and ambiance. Great for dining in or takeout. Average money spent will be probably 40 to 80 dollars due to so many great options. Great for leftovers the next day. I will definitely come back again. I don't give 5 stars out very easily. Thank you for Great sushi. Enjoy.

Andrey D: This restaurant has one of the best interiors in the Austin area, spacious, stylish, chill and relaxing.Olga did a great job pointing out the best items on the menu specifically for my needs, she was very professional and kind. Will definitely be back.

Miriam DeLeon: Dropped in for Happy Hour. They have a decent sized happy hour menu. Their happy hour prices are slightly reduced but you won't find half off apps. But the quality of the food is outstanding. They don't skimp on portions. The drinks were delicious. It's a nice quiet place to go relax after the workday.

Kim Baker: I am so happy I tried this place after so many years of driving past it. It doesn’t look like much from the outside. However, it’s very clean and well-lit inside. Happy hour is pretty generous - it lasts all the way to 6:30 which is great. The sake Mac and cheese was ok - not my thing but my daughter loves it. The Aji Sashimi was amazing. There was a green sauce on the sashimi which was the perfect balance of clean flavor. And they did the right thing by frying the bones! I love restaurants that do this with Aji bones and with Amaebi shell. The sexy roll did not disappoint. I didn’t want to eat a bunch of rice so this was a great no-carb option. It was extremely filling too!I can’t wait to take the rest of my family here. It was such a great experience!

Snow Pea - Sushi, Chinese & Asian Bistro: what do users think?

M M: The staff is super nice! The waiter even let my wife eat her food that she brought with her from another restaurant and didn’t say anything. I had the Kung Pao tofu. The tofu was overcooked and difficult to chew and the kung pao sauce wasn’t as spicy as I like it to be. Their deficiencies in the food were made up for by the friendly wait staff. I will be back again. Maybe their other dishes are better!

Lauren Long: My mom and I went on a Saturday afternoon, it wasn't too busy. Which was really nice for a casual weekend lunch. We got the Shrimp Dynasty and Garlic beef. + the scallion pancake, and shrimp spring rolls. Nicole was our waitress, who was ABSOLUTELY amazing. She was kind, and attentive. She spoke to us like we had been there many times before, Making us feel incredibly welcome. She did an amazing job at providing suggestions on what to eat, as well really delicious wine pairings. The hostess was super nice as well. The whole team who work here are fantastic. The food is super yummy. My biggest regret is not coming to eat in person sooner. As I had only ordered from the sushi menu for delivery. Please stop by! 10/10!

CEE NOTE: I went inside and ordered to go. Friendly and fast service.Basil beef w fried rice is good tho I wish had more basil flavor. Fried rice fine, and I had a fried Cali roll. The basil beef lunch came with eggroll and soup. The eggroll was super tasty, light and flavorful. I had the wonton soup and yum, great broth.I will return and try other things. All that was $25 not bad

Elliot Estrada: It was really delicious food!! And very nice service! And it was very fresh and very nice restaurant! 👌👍💯

Natalie Anderson: The owner is the most friendliest person in the world. The food is amazing! I have come here with my family practically every week! The menu has a variety of options and is vegetarian friendly. My friends, family, and everyone I have brought here have absolutely loved it!Vegetarian options: My friend is vegetarian and loved the sesame tofu.Parking: Wheelchair accessibleWheelchair accessibility: There are ramps and wheelchair parking.

Elle Will: .She recommended a couple of their chef specials: bluefin chutoro and the crunchy roll. Seriously, out of this world. Topped it off with an ichiban and some hot sake. Nothing like expensive, wagyu-vibe fish with cheap sake to make my "date night" super special. Thanks so much for your hospitality. I'll definitely be back and probably same time next Monday 😂

Michael j Tansey: Or via the QR code menu. Order EVERYTHING the first time and pay then just relax and enjoy your meal. Everything is better than you expected.Parking: Shared spaces with liquor store, convenience store and Mexican restaurant. Spaces are extremely limited.

Soto Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar: what do users think?

Bhavin Gandhi: Recommended dishes Toro Tuna with Truffle, Fish, Truffle, Wagyu, Sushi, Sashimi

Ken Rygler: I have been eating sushi for nearly 50 years, all over the U.S. and in several countries in Europe and Asia, including many times in Japan. My wife and I have had sushi in numerous Austin sushi restaurants, including Uchi and Uchiko. Soto is clearly one of the best in Austin, up there with Uchi and Uchiko but not as wildly expensive. Our waiter, Timothy, was gracious and knowledgeable and we let him select our first several dishes based on the fresh fish that had just arrived from the Toyosu fish market in Tokyo. I wish I could remember all the wonderful dishes we had but I am old and forget! But they were all splendid. We resisted dunking any in soy sauce which tends to obliterate the delicate fish flavors and the sauces and/or toppings which come with about all of them. The setting and ambiance are lovely and reminiscent of Japan. The service is impeccable and the prices, while higher than your run-of-the-mill sushi bar, not outrageously high. This is an experience not to be missed.ADDENDUM: We went back yesterday, during happy hour. Our waiter, Sean, was every bit as knowledgeable regarding ALL the diverse sushi offerings. We had a wide diversity of sushi, many recommended by Sean, some seasonal specials. All outstanding. Soto is every bit as good as Uchiko, which we have frequented numerous times. And, it is almost as expensive. But it is well worth it. Once again, we did not use soy as we do at traditional sushi bars but chose to enjoy the totality of the experience of the variety of toppings on the fish. We ate it "upside-down" with the fish side on our tongues. Highly recommended. Skip the soy!
