But parenting a newborn is not always as easy as it looks.

As you soak in all of that new baby love, it's easy to forget the little things like laundry, the grocery list, and even finding the time to shower. The one thing you don't want to forget? Booking your newborn photo session. It's never too early to reach out and reserve your due date because those newborn moments go by in a flash.

Ideally, the best time for newborn photos is within the first two weeks. The sweet-spot is 7-14 days. The first few days are really hard, you've just met your little one and are beyond exhausted. Within a week you will feel a little better and have somewhat of a feeding schedule.

If your little one is three weeks or more, don't panic. If you have a newborn photographer with lots of experience then a session is possible. You've come to the right place!

My newborn studio has everything I need to create beautiful scenes for your photo session. I'll create and recommend unique sets, props, wraps, outfits and more depending on your preferences in our warm and cozy studio so your baby sleeps soundly through the entire experience.

Take a quick nap and relax or watch as I work my newborn magic and lull your little one to sleep. You can be as involved in the process as you like knowing your baby is safe and in good hands the entire time.

I’m originally from Denver. But when my husband and I were ready for a change, Austin seemed like the perfect place to settle. From its endless possibilities for outdoor adventures with our two boys, to its amazing food trucks and restaurants, I’ve been so happy to call Austin home. Each session is about 1.5-2 hours. We don’t like to rush anything at the Silver Bee Photography studio. Setting up your newborn in the perfect poses and capturing their adorable looks in just the right natural light takes time to get right.
