Beginning August 1st, 2020, a NON-REFUNDABLE convenience fee will be applied to all credit card purchases for programs and memberships, online or at the main AMLD office. A credit card fee of 5.2% will be charged for all transactions completed online and a credit card fee of 3.0% will be charge if completing a transaction at the AMLD main office or pool locations. No convenience fees will be charged if paying with a check or cash at the main AMLD office.

This class is a total body workout offered to senior center members. During each exercise, weights and elastic bands will be used. Most exercises are performed in a standing position, but chair modifications can be made. This 1-hour class is offered to members every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 10:15 am.

Join the Senior Center for a fun game of BINGO every Thursday from 11:00 – 1:45 p.m. Come for the game, stay for the friends!

The Conley-Guerrero Senior Activity Center (CGSAC) functions as a recreation and special use resource facility for persons 50 years of age and older. The 26,000 square foot facility was the first to permanently house artwork provided through the City of Austin's Art in Public Places Ordinance. Facilities include a multi-purpose room for large groups and special events, exercise rooms with workout equipment, meeting rooms and a courtyard for members to enjoy the outdoors.

The center is a $2.2 million project built with funds from the City of Austin Capital Improvement Project. The building opened in June of 1988 and was named on behalf of two of Austin’s most distinguished senior adult citizens - Miss Onie B. Conley and Mr. Roy G. Guerrero. For more than 50 years, both persons have dedicated their lives to the enrichment and betterment of the Austin community and its citizens.


Educational Program is a mixture of non-profits, private organizations, volunteers, and staff that provide services and supplies to the seniors in the Austin and surrounding area. These classes, presentations and fairs are designed to bring seniors resources and information that concern:


There are four different categories in which participants choose: adventure/bucket list, educational, entertainment, and health/fitness.


Adventure/Bucket list- Zipline, IFly, Swimming with Dolphins, and Overnight Camping


City of Austin Parks and Recreation Varsity Generation Healthy Lifestyle Program is sponsored by volunteers, non-profits and private organizations that provide services, equipment and supplies to the seniors in the Austin and surrounding area. These classes take place to inspire Austin seniors to learn, play, protect and connect by creating diverse programs and experiences in sustainable natural spaces and public places.
