4worldlovers: Established in 1983, Austin Ki-Aikido is one of the oldest dojo in Austin teaching aikido. It is dedicated to the practice and teachings of Ki Aikido, a martial art that emphasizes the unity of mind and body to overcome aggression and conflict.

The dojo provides a place to work through the natural responses to aggression: fight, flight and freeze.

Instructors will guide you through the fundamentals of Ki Aikido, including breathing techniques, meditation, and physical movements. You will learn how to use your body and mind in unison to achieve a state of calm and focus, which can be applied to all aspects of your life.
