4worldlovers: TIEC is home to the Texas Intensive English Program, the oldest intensive English school in the state of Texas. The mission of TIEP is to provide exemplary English language instruction, training, and student services. Since 1965, TIEP has helped more than 30,000 students and professionals from 131 countries to achieve their goals by strengthening their English skills and improving their communication skills. TIEP accepts individuals who are 17 years of age or older and does not require a minimum TOEFL or IELTS score for admission. We would be delighted for you to become part of our worldwide community of TIEP students.

TIEP offers customized, one-to-one English training for non-native speakers of English with our expert instructors, available throughout the year.

Hours outside of our normal business hours and/or off – site (in Austin) – the tuition is an extra $10 per hour.

Students must enroll in a minimum of 1.5 hours of instruction per week for at least 15 total hours.

Sessions available for normal tuition rates from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday at Texas Intensive English Program heaquarters in Austin’s West Campus district.

TIEP provides customized training programs for sponsoring agencies, governments, educational institutions, private companies, and individuals contracting special programs or private lessons to meet specific training needs and goals.

Our Study Abroad in Austin program offers non-native English speakers the opportunity to pair immersive and intensive English classes with cultural activities and includes tuition, books, housing, and meals in Austin, Texas — one of the top travel destinations in the United States.

My daughter was at Joy Park from 3 to 4 years old. The school has the most caring and nurturing teachers, and my daughter loves them so much!

What I love most about the school is that the teachers actively work with and update us on my daughter's learning progress. She can converse in Mandarin fluently even though we do not speak it at home. She has also learned to read and write in both English and Chinese. Besides language and math, art and music are central parts of the curriculum.

The brand new campus is beautiful with lots of indoor space and two covered playground facilities for different age groups.
