The Austin Beer Garden Brewing Co.: what do users think?

BETHE Nordgaarden: haven for beer enthusiasts! With a wide selection of craft brews brewed on-site, there's something for everyone's palate. The relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff make it a perfect spot to unwind with friends or catch up over a pint. !

Paul Brick: it's tough for singer songwriters because a large portion of the room came to catch up with groups of friends. When a pro like Bob Schneider has trouble getting people to realize they are missing a good show, that's bad.For electric groups, it takes the hall over more fully.Still a good venue in many ways.

DY Choi (Choidy): Good beer and pizza, band music, dance hallThe atmosphere is really nice.

Draught House Pub & Brewery: what do users think?

Josh Blair: Get the Shamrock Stout....You will thank me later

alextheaggie: I love this Austin staple, been going for almost 15 years. Their selection of beer is top notch and their cocktails aren't too shabby either. They have expanded their outdoor seating which is where most people spend their time. The inside is still as grungy as ever and smells of yeast and freshly made/spilled beer. One negative is that there are only two single-occupant bathrooms.

Carla Taylor: The fish and chips were amazing! I discovered the food truck after finishing a gig I had near there. I am glad I stumbled across this place! It was worth every penny!

Lazarus Brewing Co.: what do users think?

David Bruton: It's hard to find a brewery still has that laid back vibe, especially on 6th Street. So many today have become full on bars where it's loud and difficult to have a conversation. They walk that line here. On Thursday through Saturday it's going to be busier and bumping music to match the vibe. Sunday through Wednesday it can be a bit quieter.Lazarus has a great rotation of seasonal beers and they're definitely worth trying. Their rotation is constantly rotating. From an entire Oktoberfest release to Christmas and winter beers to sours and springtime releases. They also have an entire menu for food option with tacos, rice bowls, she enchiladas.Don't forget about their breakfast, coffee, & tea options too!

Jesse Nelson: Great vibes.Check out offthewagontasting on the gram

The Brewtorium: what do users think?

Russell Taylor: Update: after 5 is also excellent - if you need a chill spot to nibble & sip with a moderate size crew, this is a grand option!I've never been here after 5PM, but as a daytime spot to TCB while enjoying an IPA, it's hard to beat

C Cool: Went yesterday for Bidi brunch. Thank you for helping put on such a wonderful event. The staff was stellar, the venue is always a hit with us cyclist. I really love this place. Only feedback I can give is maybe vegan options on menu. I was bummed I couldn't eat with my friends while they are chips and queso. Other than that, it's a beautiful space with good drinks.

Joshua Bryant: This place was awesome. The mead was fantastic and the food was so good I almost ate myself into a comma.Great staff, great food, great atmosphere, and great drinks... not much more you can ask for!

Bern Tx: 🍺 🍺 🍺 🍺Let me share the joyous tale of our recent Church of Beer venture to Brewtorium, a sanctuary of libations and fellowship. In this massive space, the beer list may be concise, numbering only eleven, yet it is a testament to divine craftsmanship, offering a diverse array of styles that elevate the sudsy spirit. The Munich dunkel, known as "The Bleaken," and the heavenly "Annie Dunleavey’s" dry Irish stout emerged as beacons of flavor, casting away all thirst. But lo and behold, it is not just the elixirs that grace the Brewtorium; the food menu is a feast of earthly delights, from wholesome salad bowls to the revered German flammekueche. Our group found ample seating within these walls, fostering camaraderie and laughter. As we ventured to the outdoor patio, a humble abode overlooking train tracks and a parking lot, it lacked the celestial ambiance we sought but was sufficient nonetheless.Yet, let not this paltry outdoor view overshadow the excellence bestowed upon us within Brewtorium. We celebrate the confluence of exceptional brews, delectable sustenance, and the bonds forged in this haven of suds. Needless to say, I would recommend a visit to the Brewtorium, time and again, to savor the divine nectar and share in the bonds of a beer-loving gathering. Cheers!

Gina Spaulding: For our recent small wedding my now-husband and I wanted to rent a space with enough room to mingle, plenty of seating options and great food and service. The first place we thought of was The Brewtorium. We had seen the private room in use in the past but had no idea it would be such a wonderful space to host a small wedding reception. The booking process was easy, including choosing the menu. The server that we opted to have as part of the booking was amazing. The food and drinks were outstanding. The space was incredibly cozy while feeling very spacious at the same time. Our guests had a wonderful time as did myself and my husband. I would highly recommend The Brewtorium for any smaller events that you might be planning to host. You won't be disappointed!

Scott Bayer: Drank 3 different beers and all were excellent for their type.

Jocelyn Irle: I’m happy with their customer service.Sad moist deflated pretzel bun! Usually I love their pretzels, but the pretzel bun is awful. Also, their website lists the price as $12.50, but they charged me $14. That’s always a shock when you look at your receipt to see they’ve raised prices without updating the online menu. 😩 If you come, just get a pretzel.

Central District Brewing: what do users think?

Robert Fath: Great beers. Great bartender. However, the bubbles in the epoxy coat on the counter top drove me freaking nuts. I can’t stop looking at it. Why can’t they fix those little holes. Should just start over and get a new counter. Or pop the holes and fill them with granite. Anyway, great place.

Stephen Haight: Good beer and chill atmosphere. Food selection is limited though

Mark Conklin: Nice low key place to stop for a good beer.

Trevor Lane: Great and quiet place. Great beer. Small and quiet when we went. Great for a quick stop for a beer or linger for a few.

Joshua Elzy: Flights available and one block from the tram

Joe B: What a beautiful spot to get a beer in the heart of downtown Austin. Great staff, easy parking, and most importantly awesome beer! Pizza was great too. Thanks CDB!

matt southerland: Great beer and better people. I got to talk to the folks who work there while drinking their brews - super impressed. I don’t normally leave reviews but when a homeless man walked in asking for some water - they not only gave him some water without missing beat, they also gave him some food. Pure generosity and good souls. 100% recommend this place!

Seth Pate: Big fan 10/10 The highest quality brewery in Austin, hands down. Some options very traditional, others more avant-garde. Also makes a great event space. Not to mention the service was lovely, very charming bunch!

J: Great beer, chill atmosphere, played a couple board games while we were here and had a good time.

Daniel Crake: Good range of quality beers, friendly staff. I'm surprised it isn't busier

Adrian Nyland: Solid location. Chill vibes with great music. The lighting is yellow. And I like it. Loads of communal and non-communal tables.

Danny Scheid: Unbelievably good beer for how small this spot is. Great stop to bring a friend and catch up as it is not too big, and a little quieter.

Simon Reallyis: Amazing hazies, 5 different ones

Nikunj Jain: Great craft beer

Jenn P.: to choose from.

Yeah Right: Tremedous section of beers. Our server Cannon was on point and friendly. Clean and good ambiance.

Paul Cato: Haven't tried the food but they have an incredible selection of beers. I've honestly never seen so many taps. The bartenders are really cool too, and they make trying new beers fun. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and the vibe is laid back so you can feel comfortable hanging out for a while. The location lacks some charm but the business itself is very charming.

Jackie McKay: Love it!

CHRISTIAN MUNOZ: Amazing variety of draft beer and their wings are soooooo good!!! Must try!

Michael Maher: Great beer selection, great staff!

Nomadic Beerworks: what do users think?

Darren Melonson: Solid Bier; some great summer brews for the heat.List of panini options has expanded.Fantastic service.

Jim Davis: Great place to relax and have a few good beers.

Frances Shelby: They have really good panini sandwiches and a lunch special for a sandwich and beer/drink. Friendly staff!

Bern Tx: Nestled in the heart of Austin's bustling craft beer scene, Nomadic Beerworks stands out as a beacon of creativity and quality. Boasting a beer list that reads like a love letter, albeit a short one, to beer enthusiasts everywhere, Nomadic offers something for every palate, from the puckering tartness of sours to the deep, rich complexities of Belgian quads. Each brew is a testament to the skill and passion of the brewers, showcasing a commitment to excellence that sets Nomadic apart from the crowd. But it's not just about the beer at Nomadic Beerworks – it's about the experience. Stepping into this brewery is like entering a hoppy wonderland, where the air is filled with the tantalizing aromas of malt and yeast. And while the outside seating, which overlooks the parking lot and the sketchy activities at the U-Haul lot across the street, may lack the trendy ambiance of some of its counterparts, the real magic happens inside, where the true spirit of craft beer culture thrives. In a world where breweries often cater to the masses, bad parents and their untethered hordes of ill behaved offspring, Nomadic Beerworks dares to be different and focus on the beer… and the adults who drink it. With its exceptional beer selection, welcoming atmosphere, and commitment to quality, it's a shining example of what craft beer should be. Cheers to Nomadic Beerworks – may your taps never run dry!

Kris Huff: Great local spot. Everyone goes across the street to cosmic and deals with the crowds.Do yourself a favor, head up the hill and come to Nomadic instead!

Le: Very nice beer! Best sour in Austin.

Scott Ratner: Nomadic is AWESOME! The beer is great, food is great, staff is super nice and welcoming, and they have a N64! Couldn’t be better.

Dan Medlin: Great environment. Comfortable booths or bar seats. Excellent wifi. Staff is friendly and beer-smart. Beers are phenomenal. If you like malty brown ales, you have to have a 'Split to Hvar'. I will be back.

Scott F.: Came here to grab a couple of beers and a quick bite on a trip to San Antonio, the staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful with helping me decide what to try. Every beer I had was delicious, but I especially loved the Peak Season, a big bold & juicy New England IPA. That one was so good, I grabbed 24 packs for my work trip.I can't wait to get back to this place, very spacious on the inside, and everyone was really chill. They are super dog-friendly as well.

Shane Hertig: Great beers and laid back atmosphere. Def worth stopping by. Food menu looks great too.

Paul Brick: , is just down the block.

Sheldon Parker: Best brewery in S.Austin!

Chuck Olson: Awesome place, fantastic brew and panini sandwiches that are spot on !!

Brian “Hydro” Maddix: Really nice brewery, strongly recommend 🍺

Reese Rasnick: Best wings!!!!

Jim Benson: Good beer. Good food. Chill environment. What else can you want?

Gábor Tófalvy: A lot of beers to taste

Black Star Co-op: what do users think?

Michael Tipton: Great beer, good food and the service, well, it wasn’t terrible. Beagle B just wasn’t that friendly. I sat at the bar with a buddy for more than 2 hours. It wasn’t very busy and when I went back to order more beers it was like he had never seen me before. I’m terrible with names so I thought well, I get it. Although I agree with everyone making a living wage, I don’t agree with a gratuity being added without me knowing about it. 15% is way below what I normally tip and even though the service wasn’t great, everything else was. So to be forced to pay a gratuity is something I find frustrating. Especially since even though the service sucked, I would have paid more. I feel that the service might not have sucked if Beagle B actually had to work for his tip instead of it being handed to him. If you decide to work in a tipped environment, you should have to earn that tip.

Ainsley Payne: The service was amazing and the waiter Sam was so friendly.Service: 5/5 …

Jarred Hutson: Great beers, good vibes and no tipping. It is hard not to like this place

Dan: The BEST burger in town, and great beer. But -- I got raw meat on the inside of my burger once. Not cool with ground beef.

Shantrice Terrell: Let me just start by saying that if you're ever in Austin, you have to visit Oasis. At first, I was going to try the food over at Oasis restaurant on Lake Travis, but the reviews on the food weren't very good. Many people in the comments recommended Oasis brewing instead. I'm so happy I came here because the food was delicious and it was less crowded. The service was excellent and it was very clean. I recommend the chicken club sandwich.

Jason Brewer: Nice place with great beers and service. Appreciate everything today yall!

Easton Dillehay: St. Elmo is our favorite brewery in ATX. The bartenders here are awesome and their beers are superb. They have a fun round of events each week and an awesome membership.

Sara Reeves: . But the format of 512 Trivia is one of my least favorite trivia outfit formats in town.

brandon: This is my absolute favorite place in Austin. The culture they’ve created makes it the ideal location for me and my husband to hangout on Saturdays or Sundays. Carl Kölsch in a gold rimmed glass is the second best way to drink one. A Tall Carl in a big giant can is first! Love you guys and gals!

Andrew Buschmeier: Amazing beer. So light and drinkable yet absolutely delicious. Dog friendly. The bartender was friendly and welcoming to this newcomer. This is a can’t miss brewery.

Brian Beck: A great brewery with a wide range of amazing beers - solid lagers, amazing stouts, barrel aged options, sours, you name it. They share their plaza with food trucks and have tons of seating. Many of the beers are gluten-reduced.

Kurt Sanderson: Waiting for my truck at the Toyota dealer sown the road so I took a stroll down to this brewery. Um, amazing! The beer was fantastic! I got a plate full of hazies and I was absolutely delighted to get a complimentary taster of hop water with my flight. Patio was great and they have food on site. I will definitely be back.

queso def: Great beer, chill spot to work or hang out wit friends. Hunter behind the bar was super friendly and knowledgeable. Spicy Boys has great food in the truck outside.

Matthew Shie: Pretty good

seek.find.create.design: They got rid of my fave The George Micheal. I'm so sad. I still give 5 stars. This is one of my fave breweries.

Blake Burch: which is unfortunate for Austin.

David Botts: Outstanding brewery! Such a great time here and in love with the plethora of IPAs!Great crew, appreciate everything here. An absolute must stop for anybody who loves good beer and is visiting Austin.

Juan Salazar: Beer here was great and the staff were nice. Had the Icy Boy and Candy Cowboy, both were good tasting beers.

Scott Ferreira: Overall, fun spot with great beer. Hard to go wrong!I tried their Nine Lives Hazy and Heavenly Daze IPA. I enjoyed both of them! I didn’t get much of the strawberry in the Nine Lives but still enjoyed its refreshing nature. Their description of low bitterness in the Heavenly is accurate.I’ll also see if I can rate separately but Spicy Boys Fried Chicken here is delicious! Highly recommend.

Nathan Peoples: Great spot! Beer was fantastic, patio was beautiful, and Amy gave us top notch service.

Lindsey Coen: Can't say enough great things about this place. We were visiting from out of town for the solar eclipse and this place made our experience great. Great service, excellent beer, clean, family friendly, good outdoor space, and good food truck. Thanks for a great time!

Angie Windheim: Perfect stop on our dog friendly tour of Austin! Even found a nice outdoor table to stay dry from the rain. Loved the Mexican lager.

Dmitry Popov: Fanstasric beer! Marco IPA is officially my favorite IPA since today! Coffee milk stout is also very nice.

Stephanie Sears: Came for the Belgian witbier and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Perfect place to spend a Saturday afternoon.

Tom Pop: Descent section of beer located downtown Austin. Get your eclipse beer. 1:36pm before its gone.

Joshua Sammons: $8.75 after tax. The rent is too damn high!

Emmie Skopec: Great patio, service, drinks and the Spicy Boys food truck is a nice touch

Jose Peña: Delicious beer. Spicy boys chicken is really good.

Andrea Ferro: Great beer and delicious chicken nuggets by the “spicy boys” food truck!

Lu Gü: Once a year they celebrate a Spice Festival in collaboration with the Spicy Boys Food Truck next to them. Super fun! The Classic Chicken Nuggets thankfully didn’t make me cry like the super hot fried chicken pieces that the contestant had to eat!

Jeremy Wallace: Great brewery, chill vibes, and great spicy chicken

Jason Land: Amazing atmosphere and delicious brews.

Christina Knaak: Zilker has a great variety of beers to choose from, a welcoming taproom with lots of space for seating, and a laid-back vibe that makes you want to stay all day long! Food truck was also delicious and staff were very warm and friendly.

Jim Cramer: It is with a heavy heart, I have to say....Friends & Allies Brewery will be closing their doors for good. If you like the beer, stop in and get it now. Posted 9/21/2023.

El Barto: Just realized I’ve never left them a review. I’ve been going since they opened and it’s always good. The beer is consistent. Staff is always friendly.

James Dettman: Great beer & crew.

Virginia Stockwell: Enjoyable experience with pleasant and helpful staff, indoor and outdoor seating, cool vibe, really good beer. Has chicken tenders food truck out front.

Sean Murphy: We were caught in a rainstorm walking around the complex and were welcomed in from the weather by Ben the owner. He was gracious to invite us in and offer us a beer, while waiting for the rain to pass. We wished we had nicer weather to enjoy the porch seating and drink more great beer!

Ryan Musick: Great folks

Mickey Jeffrey: This place was great and to make it better they are next to the Austin East Ciders "that my wife likes". I went there on 24 March 2023 and had a blast hanging out with friends. The brews were great and when I went to check out I easily closed the tab and I identified an error that they took care of immediately. Love this place and cant wait to get back there.

Chris Patton: Cool little spot. Hard as hell to find if you don't know where you're going. I parked in the back and walked around for a few minutes until I found it. Throw a few signs up around the place would ya. 😁

Sergey Zvezdov: Love this brewery for their beer selection, friendly people and great patio. I am coming here regular since 2018.

Sarah Espinosa: Fantastic! Greats beers, location and service! Next door to the rock climbing gym and huge parking lot! Will absolutely be back!

Jade Reyes: This place is badass. Not only is the beer amazing, the location is conveniently attached to the rock gym so you can actually earn what you drink and the staff are super friendly. They once opened two hours early because they saw my friends and I walk up and got disappointed they were closed so they let us in. 5/5 would recommend!

Alexa Mejia: Service is amazing!

Brianna Leahy: I’m not much of a beer drinker generally, but I started popping by after climbing, and this place is great! They’ve got a couple sours that are great for wine drinkers, and so refreshing after a workout. Ben, the owner, is great and all of the employees are always friendly and helpful. 10/10

Ashley Reed: Delicious beer. Awesome service! Nice patio.

Taryn: My friends and I absolutely love Friends and Allie. Delicious beer, fun atmosphere and staff is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this brewery and beer to everyone.
